Phases of the research
ILSA has divided research into six main phases
| 1. Nitrogen can be leached away or dissipated into the environment by gasification. ILSA's activities are concentrated on the production of products that guarantee a greater degree of resistance to these phenomena as well as controlled time release. Azoslow and Azotil are the first concrete results obtained in this direction. |

| 2. Liquid-foliar organic nutrition has two main fronts for research, the perfection of the process and expansion of the range of raw materials, for the production of advanced organic products capable of nourishing the plant through its foliage. |

| 3. The objective of biostimulants is to improve the internal reaction of plants by increasing their absorption efficiency and strengthening them against stresses. IlsaC-on is the first concrete result in this area. IlsaC-on is the first concrete result in this area. |

| 4. Organic nutrition and fertigation have the objective of fertilizing during irrigation using limited amounts of water, optimizing the potential of organic products, and providing full support to the plant. |

| 5. Many third-party companies ask ILSA to sell their products. Prior to doing this, ILSA subjects them to the same validation process it uses for its own products. |
|
| 6. Special projects where independent, potentially strategic research is performed for the future development of the company, that may also involve industrial markets other than agriculture, such as textiles, cosmetics, animal husbandry, and tanning. |
