AGROGEL® is made from proteins of different complexities and leghts; therefore, it is an ideal food source for soil microorganisms. Its biological mineralization is quickly activated and lasts up several months, since the digestion of different pieces of proteins requires different amounts of time. During this process, nitrogen is released gradually and becomes available for plants immediately (5-20 days), in the short term (20 days-2 months), in the middle term (2-4 months), and even in the long term, with a small fraction of larger proteins lasting up to 8 months. Because of AGROGEL®'s formula, nitrogen release in natural, gradual and long-lasting, and happens when the plants most need it, since the rate of microbial activity is related to climate.
AGROGEL® acts also as a biostimulant and interacts with macroelements naturally present in the soil. It reduces phosphorus and calcium so that phorsphorus is available much longer, this making each fertilizer application twice as efficent. AGROGEL® can also increase the availability of more mobile forms of potassium and increase the efficency of its use by more then 50%.
