Ilsa Zero
WHERE ARE WE AT?
We have planted 7.000 fruit trees in four countries so far
trees in Columbia
trees in Guatemala
trees in Peru
trees in Thailand
300 farmers were involved in the trees planting.
The trees absorb 3.761.050 kg of CO2 per year.
WHERE ARE WE GOING?
We expect, over some years, to make it zero Kgs of CO2 released per year to manufacture our fertilizers.
Our mission is to satisfy the requirements arising from more and more specialized agriculture by developing natural, sustainable and eco-friendly solutions. True to our eco-sustainable principles and working method, we feel we are called to do more.
Thanks to ILSAZERO project, we aim to absorb the quantity of CO2 we release to produce our fertilizers, grant our planet a sustainable future, and lend a helping hand to the farming communities of Columbia, Guatemala, Peru and Thailand.
How?
In 2019 we planted 7000 fruit trees in three countries.
To supply our planet with oxygen.
To support the small farming communities located in Columbia, Guatemala, Peru and Thailand.
TARGET:
We, first mover among the companies operating in the organic fertilizers industry, have decided to conduct a study on our environmental footprint organization and products throughout their life cycles, up to the end user.
With this achieved, we can now eld a strong tool to read our environmental performance, spot the points of possible improvement and pursue the reduction of our impact, as well as consolidate our “green reputation”.
Consistently with our will for ongoing improvement, we can not be satisfied with a low impact, so are steadily focused on developing more tools leading to further improvements to our environment performances. This is where ILSAZERO project has its roots.
We are determined to achieve 0 level (no impact at all).
How?
By planting more and more trees in our orchards to absorb the C02 in the atmosphere, to preserve the environment and help the local farming communities all around the world, offering them a tangible opportunity to earn their livelihood from agriculture.
