Privacy Policy (d.lgs. 30.6.2003, n. 196 – Art. 13)

It is the intention of ILSA S.p.A., a company of the ILSA group, which manages the Internet site,, to provide as accurate a description of possible of the manners in which the personal data of the users of, and of the visitors to, the site, and of customers and suppliers, is processed.

This notice is, furthermore, a notice issued also pursuant to art. 13 of D.Lgs. (legislative decree) No 196 of 30 June 2003, for the users of the services of the site.

This notice is not valid for other web sites accessed, in the eventuality, by means of links included, for which ILSA S.p.a. is in no way responsible.

The indications provided below are also guided by Recommendation No 2/2001 of the Group of European Guarantors for the Protection of Personal Data, adopted on 17 May 2001 pursuant to art. 29 of Directive No 95/46/EC, with particular regard to collection of personal data via the Internet. The said indications set out to establish the minimum measures that must be implemented vis-à-vis the persons involved in order to ensure that personal data collection is conducted in a frank, open and lawful manner (thereby applying articles 6, 7, 10 and 11 of Directive 95/46/EC).

The persons to whom the personal data refers, pursuant to art. 7 of D.Lgs. (legislative decree) No 196/2003, have the right at any time to obtain confirmation that the said data exists, to know what it consists in and its origin, and to check that it is precise. They may also make a request for the said information to be added to, updated or rectified. They also have the right to request that the said data be deleted, that it be rendered anonymous, or that data processed not in compliance with the law be blocked. Furthermore, they may, for legitimate reasons, withhold permission for the data to be processed.   


Requests as per art. 7 of D.Lgs. (legislative decree) No 196/2003 are to be submitted to the ILSA S.p.a. Data Processing Manager, Ms Paola Piona, at the address provided above.



Processing relative to the web services provided by this site – which physically takes place via hosting mode at Datacenter Bologna, Via della Centralinista 1 - 40138 Bologna, Italy (" -") - is conducted at the headquarters of the company responsible for processing through the agency solely of ILSA S.p.a. employees or collaborators charged with the task of processing, or, in the eventuality, by operators charged from time to time with the task of maintenance.


No data deriving from web services shall be transmitted to other parties.

The personal data provided by users who submit requests for services is used solely for the purpose of provision of the service or operation requested. It is not transmitted to third parties, without prejudice either to legal obligations concerning transmission or to the possibility of transmission strictly required for meeting the needs of the requesting party.




Navigation data.

During normal use, computerized systems and the software procedures set up for the functioning of this site acquire certain personal data the transmission of which is entailed in the use of Internet communication protocols.


The information in question is not collected to be associated with identified interests. However, through processing and association with data held by third parties, it may, by its very nature, enable identification of users.


This class of data includes IP addresses or the domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation addresses for required resources, time of request, method used for submitting request to server, size of response file, numerical code indicating status of response provided by the server (success, error etc.) and other parameters relative to the operating system and the user’s computing environment.


The data is used solely for obtaining anonymous statistical data on site use and in order to check for correct functioning. It is deleted immediately after processing.


The data in question may be used for ascertaining responsibilities in the eventuality of electronic criminal acts targeting our site. Apart from such an eventuality, in general, the data on web contacts is not stored for more than seven days.


Data provided voluntarily by users

Transmission, which is facultative, and explicitly specified as voluntary, of e-mail messages to the addresses indicated on this site entails, by its very nature, acquisition of the address of the sender, which is necessary for replying to requests, alongside acquisition of any personal data included in the message.


Specific notices provided in summary form are to be found on the pages of the site set up for specific services available on request.

We request that our users, in submitting service requests or queries, avoid providing names or sending other personal data belonging to third parties unless strictly necessary.



Cookies are a textual element which are put on the fixed disk of a computer only after authorization. If authorization is granted, the text shall be downloaded in the form of a small file. The function of cookies is to simplify and speed up web traffic analysis or to indicate when a specific site is visited, enabling web applications to transmit information to individual users. No acquisition of user personal data of this kind by the site takes place. Cookies are not used for transmission of information of a personal nature.

Disabling Cookies

Click on the Safari menu and select “Preferences”
Click on the “Privacy” tab

n the “Accept cookies” section, indicate whether you accept cookies always, never or only from visited websites. Click on the question mark Guide button for an explanation of the various options. If Safari is set to block cookies, it may be necessary to accept them temporarily to open the page. So, repeat the aforesaid steps and select “Always”.  Once you have finished using the Guide, disable the cookies again and remove them. Visiting and browsing in the site means you implicitly consent to receiving cookies. Nevertheless, as explained above, users can also decide not to receive cookies by using the appropriate disabling option in their browser.



Leaving aside the provisions indicated with regard to navigation data, users are free to provide personal data while requesting transmission of information or when requesting others types of service offered by the Company.


Not providing personal data may impede service provision.



Personal data is processed in hard copy form and/or by means of automated instruments for the time necessary for achieving the aims for which the said data is collected.

Specific security measures are conformed to in order to prevent loss of data, unlawful or incorrect use, and unauthorized access.
