ILSA's mission is enshrined in three significant words: sustainable agriculture productivity. The goal is ambitious but clear: to meet the growing needs of an increasingly specialized agriculture by helping farmers improve the quality and yields of their crops, with a keen eye on social responsibility and respect for the environment.
ILSA was established in 1956 by a young industrial chemist based on this belief and great insight: extracting natural nitrogen from hide tanning process, thus producing high-efficiency fertilizers.
